With A Little Help, You and Your Business Will Soar

One of the signs of great leadership is the ability to know when to ask for help and as small business owners, we have all leaned on other people, aside from ourselves, for their expertise. Whether it be a lawyer to help incorporate your business, a bookkeeper to keep you on top of your receipts, a designer to help with a logo or a web site, a coach to help you keep on track of your business, life or health goals, we can only do better together than work alone.

Over the last 5 years of being an entrepreneurial coach, I have had the great fortune of meeting other entrepreneurs who serve small business leaders. Every small business owner, at some point, needs a lawyer, an accountant/bookkeeper, a web designer, a computer expert, a graphic designer, a printer, photographer, gifting options, promotional item provider, sales support or administrative support …and that’s just on the business side. As owners of our businesses, without a healthy mind, body and spirit, our businesses eventually suffer. So do you have a good masseuse, a good personal trainer, holistic nutritionist, wellness expert, financial planner, to keep you strong for your life and your business?

We do.

We have great connections to phenomenal people who can help you and your business rise to the next level. Give us a shout and we’ll connect you.

E-Mastermind Group – The Entrepreneurial Mastermind Group is Back

We have been asked recently to provide options for our clients that are less expensive and more social than individual one on one coaching and so we’re listening. The e-mastermind group is back.

The e-mastermind group consists of 4 – 5 entrepreneurs who want business and life coaching options that are cost-effective, regularly scheduled and facilitated. Members of an e-mastermind group can enjoy these benefits:

  • A safe and confidential setting where members can share, learn and grow with each other
  • Coaching as a group where life or business issues are brought to the meeting and support/resolution are shared and encouraged
  • Brainstorming, testing, cheerleading, championing are foundational elements of the coaching process
  • Fair and equitable sharing of “time” through experienced group facilitation
  • Opportunity to meet new friends and colleagues

Sessions will start at the end of March, with each meeting being two hours in length, will occur bi-weekly until the end of June. (8 sessions in total). If you are interested in submitting an application to become a member, please contact Grace.

Personal Reflection

I am sitting here, on the 9th floor of a hotel in Hong Kong as I write this, filled with mixed emotions about this sudden trip to Hong Kong. Firstly, I am saddened by the state of my grandmothers’ life – how can a 94 year old woman, who has no knowledge of anyone around her, has no means of self care, feel? I hold her hand and kiss her but I have no idea what she is thinking or capable of thinking except that she has a tight grip on my fingers. I am hopeful that this means she knows that there are people around her who love her. At the same time, I am angered by the games that people play in the seniors’ caregiving system here in HK – I feel “taken advantage of” by the system financially as we are not here daily to care for my grandmother and rely so heavily on the system. And yet, I feel so grateful that my grandmother is getting such phenomenal care by nurses and aids who really love her, doting on her to satisfy every need. Yet Hong Kong astounds me. I am completely impressed by the quality of life, efficiency and service of the HK people. As I look out this window, anticipating another new morning in HK, I am overjoyed with the opportunity to relish in the memories of my childhood and so grateful to be able to re-live them and wishing so much that my husband and kids were here to share these precious moments with me.
