ay at our friends'
cottage with no power. No water, no
electricity, no appliances. And guess
what? It was the best few days I can
remember at the cottage. It was
because everything was simple. We
talked more, cooked together, slept more, played more, enjoyed the sun and
water and just soaked up the nature that surrounded us. What have I learned? That simple
is good. Really good. We have so many things that distract us
from all the important things in life.
So, turn off the TV, Blackberry, laptop, computer game or IPOD and
instead, ask questions, get curious, close your eyes,
get in the moment and just STOP the craziness. There is so much beauty in each moment - let's
not keep missing them.
